This year, the Ateneo Business Resource Center is re-introducing its two-day operations management workshop. With esteemed facilitator, Mr. David Edward Jimenez, participants have the unique opportunity to learn how their business/organizational processes can be improved. They will spend the workshop gaining a deeper understanding on the use of quality management tools and concepts, which have been chosen to aid in the optimization of their organization’s overall productivity. Participants will also have the chance to learn how standardized procedures result in reliable and predictable output rates that subsequently minimize costs and wastes.
Scheduled for August 4 and 11, 2023 from 6-9PM, Operations Management 101 ensures participants will receive a promising experience with both theoretical and practical lessons catered to transforming the way value is provided by their operations. The workshop is open to the public, and participants can embark on this journey for an excellent deal of only Php 5,000.00. Such fee is inclusive of the materials for both workshop days, along with food and drinks for all participants.
Throughout the workshop, Mr. David Jimenez will serve as the primary facilitator and mentor of the participants. He graduated from BS Management Information Systems from Ateneo de Manila University and has an MBA from UP Diliman. Currently, he is also studying to obtain his PhD in Education from UP Diliman. Beyond this, he is a Six Sigma Green Belt Certified professional and a faculty member of the Ateneo's John Gokongwei School of Management. As faculty, he teaches Operations Management, Service Management, and Process Improvement subjects. He is also the Program Director for Management with Applied Chemistry program of the school.
