MARKETING FOR NON-MARKETERS is a highly interactive workshop for owners and marketing managers of small- and medium-sized enterprises. It begins with the fundamentals of building of a brand online and ends with your own digital marketing strategy that you can apply immediately. Full of practical tips and advice, and application exercises in between lectures, the 8-session course will both enable and inspire you to do digital marketing right.

We’ll help you understand your target market and refine the components of your offering to deliver spot-on marketing campaigns. We’ll demonstrate why the consumer value proposition is at the heart of your business and how to align your key activities with it.
JAN 29: Your Unique Selling Proposition / Building Your Brand
We’ll explain how to create and communicate a unique product position customers will pay your price for. We’ll go through a framework for defining or creating your brand through a consistent persona and voice.
FEB 5: Understanding Digital Channels and Planning Your Digital Ecosystem
We’ll show the practical fundamentals of digital and social media marketing, and the different online platforms you can utilize to achieve your various business objectives.
FEB 12: Digital Marketing Strategy and Metrics
We’ll teach you how to craft a digital marketing strategy and identify the metrics that matter in an online campaign.

FEB 26: Marketing Plan Review / Content Marketing
We’ll share a checklist to ensure that your marketing plan is well-grounded and complete — and your budget maximized. We’ll then teach you how to create, publish, and distribute content for a targeted audience.
MAR 5: Search Engine Optimization / Search Engine Marketing
We introduce you to Search Engine Optimization and strategies to increase the SEO ranking of your website. We’ll then teach the basics of Search Engine Marketing and how to create a keyword strategy for your content and your Search ads.
MAR 12: Social Media Marketing 101
We’ll discuss the various social media platforms and teach you how to effectively tell your stories using digital content.
MAR 19: Social Listening / Social Media Management
We’ll focus on the Art of Social Listening and show how to formulate the next course of action based on data. We’ll share lots of tips and best practices on social media management to deliver the best value and experience to your audience.
